02. Who are Mats Direct UK Limited?

Mats Direct UK Limited is a company located in Bury, Lancashire, UK. We offer the most diverse and innovative rubber matting and PVC plastic flooring products available in the industry.

03. Are free rubber, carpet & PVC samples available?

Yes. All products have small free samples available. Please quote the MD number and preferred colour.

04. Do you sell mats to the public?

Yes, however there is a minimum order value. We supply direct to retail groups, industry, local authorities, government institutions, leisure facilities and commercial groups.

05. Is a matting catalogue available?

No, however most of our mat product information is available on this website.

06. How do I select which matting product I need?

There are a number of considerations: indoor or outdoor, cost, what do you want the product to achieve. Is it for a matwell or is it floor laid, does it need to be washable, ramp area, safety, hygiene, am I looking for interlocking rubber tiles, rubber matting rolls, plastic floor mats, for logo mats number of colours, complexity of logo, exercise, MMA or gymnastics floor mats? All these questions go into the decision making process. We recommend you call us on +44 (0)161 797 6785 if you are unsure or use this website to review the product information.

07. Are FREE site visits possible?

Site visits can be arranged within the UK (and now also in Europe) via the sales team in certain circumstances.

08. How long does it usually take to receive the mat product?

It depends on the product. Most of our rubber & PVC mat and tile products including sports and gymnastics mats are ex-stock and can be shipped within 48 hours. The following bespoke custom made or cut products : print mats, graphinlay mats, media mats and corpromat delivery is usually 21-28 days from artwork approval. 09. What sizes are available?

Our PDF product download sheets have standard size width, length, and thickness information - and also colour options if available.

10. Do you provide custom cut bespoke sizes?

Custom sizes are available on many of our matting products, please see our PDF product download sheets for further details.

11. Where can I get product pricing?

12. Are your products guaranteed?

Yes from 12 months to 5 years, but it depends on the particular product. All products are guaranteed from manufacturing defects and this does not affect your statutory rights.

13. What artwork is required for logo brand mats?

To get the process started quickly you can email your logo to us in digital format. Preferred formats are high resolution .pdf (Adobe Acrobat), .cdr (Corel Draw), .eps (Photoshop) or .ai (Adobe illustrator). We may also be able to use formats such as .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .tiff or .png files.

14. How do I place an order?

Once you have received your quotation and are happy with it you can simply order your products via email or telephoning our sales office on +44 (0)161 797 6785.

15. What is the carriage cost?

Cost is entirely governed by the weight and size of your order. We use experienced couriers most suited to your delivery requirements, priced at cost only.

16. How are the products shipped?

Via experienced cost effective dedicated carriers. Either in parcel format, or on pallets.

17. Can we collect our order?

No, we do not have the facility to enable self-collection unless a dedicated agreement has been made with our sales team.

18. How do I pay for my order?

Goods will not be dispatched until payment has been received or an official purchase order has been raised for account holders. We will send a pro-forma invoice via email or post. Please return with a cheque made payable to Matsdirect UK Limited for the stipulated amount. Should you have an account we will simply send a 30-day payable invoice on dispatch of goods. We also accept company or personal credit cards including AMEX.

19. Can I return a product?

If you receive an ordered product and there is a defect, shortage, damage or product error please call us within 24 hours of receipt and we will give you return instructions. Custom made, custom cut or logo products are not returnable unless an error in production against your order has occurred. These products are customised and unique to you. It is critical that all steps are taken to prevent any disappointment. We always recommend getting a sample if available to ensure compatibility with expectations.
