MatsDirect is a company Located in Bury Lancashire U.K since 1998. We offer the most diverse and innovative matting and flooring products available in the industry.
Are free samples available?
Yes. All products have small free samples available. Please quote MD number and preferred colour.
Do you sell to the public?
Yes. We supply direct to the public as well as Retail groups, Industry, Local Authorities, Government institutions, Leisure facilities, commercial groups, etc.
Is a catalogue available?
Yes, However, all our information is available on our web site.
How do I select which product I need?
There are a number of considerations: indoor or outdoor, cost, what do you want the product to achieve. Is it for a Matwell or is it surface mounted, does it need to be washable, ramp area, safety, and hygiene, am I looking for interlocking Rubber tiles, Rubber matting rolls, for logo mats number of colours, complexity of logo, etc. All these questions go into the decision making process. Are site visits possible?
Site visits can be arranged within the UK via the sales team.
How long does it usually take to receive the product?
It depends on the product. Most of our products are ex stock and can be shipped within 48 hours, however for the following bespoke custom made or cut products:- Print mats, Graphinlay mats, Media mats and Corpromat delivery is usually 21-28 days from artwork approval. SHORT ON TIME Please request information regarding our Fast Track option.
What sizes are available?
Our download sheets have standard size width length and thickness information also colour options if available.

Are your products guaranteed?
Yes, it depends on the particular product, from 12 months to 5 years. All products are guaranteed from manufacturing defects.
What artwork is required?
To get the process started quickly, email us your logo in digital format. Preferred formats are High Resolution .pdf (Adobe Acrobat reader) .cdr (Corel Draw) .eps (photo shop).ai (Adobe illustrator). We can also use formats such as .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .tiff, or .png files.
How do I order?
Once you have received your quotation and are, happy with it you can simply order your products via e:mail, fax or telephone our sales office.
What is the carriage cost?
Cost is entirely governed by the weight of your products.
How are the products shipped?
Via dedicated carrier. Either in parcel format, or on pallets.
Can we collect?
No, we do not have the facility to enable self-collection unless a dedicated agreement has been made with our sales team.
How do I pay?
Goods will not be dispatched until payment has been received or an official purchase order has been raised for account holders. We will send a pro forma invoice via e-mail fax or post. Please return with a cheque made payable to Matsdirect Limited for the stipulated amount. Should you have an account we will simply send a 30-day payable invoice on dispatch of goods. We also accept company or personal credit cards including AMEX.
Can I return a product?
If you receive an ordered product and there is a defect, shortage, damage or product error please call us immediately and we will give you return instructions. Custom made, custom cut or logo products are not returnable unless an error in production against order has occurred.
These products are customized and unique to you. It is critical that all steps are taken to prevent any disappointment. We always recommend getting a sample if available.
